veterinary care in Nyeri, followed by an unforgettable safari through some of Kenya’s most
iconic national parks and reserves, including Mount Kenya, Samburu, Lake Naivasha, and the
world-famous Maasai Mara.
Your journey begins as you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. Our representatives will greet you with traditional Kenyan hospitality and transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy dinner and an informative briefing about your upcoming adventure. Overnight in Nairobi.
After breakfast, depart for Nyeri in Central Kenya. Arrive mid-morning and begin your engagement with local farmers. Learn about their farming practices and offer advice on improving yields. After lunch, visit nearby farms to assess their operations. In the evening, retire to Mtoni Lodge or equivalent for dinner and overnight stay.
For the next three days, immerse yourself in veterinary missionary work. Mornings are dedicated to educational sessions on farming practices and animal husbandry. Afternoons involve farm visits, where you'll review farmers' efforts, treat sick animals, and administer medicine. Each evening, return to Mtoni Lodge or equivalent for dinner and overnight stay.
Depart early for Mount Kenya National Park, home to diverse flora and fauna. In the afternoon, proceed to Samburu National Reserve, known for its unique wildlife including the "Special Five." Enjoy an evening game drive before checking into Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Start with an early morning game drive in Samburu. After breakfast, depart for Hell's Gate National Park, enjoying a picnic lunch en route. Explore the park's unique landscapes before continuing to Lake Naivasha. Check into Sweet Lake Hotel for dinner and overnight.

While qualified veterinarians are ideal, we welcome veterinary students, technicians, and animal health enthusiasts. Basic training will be provided before the missionary work begins.
Services include basic health check-ups for livestock, administering vaccinations, deworming, treating common ailments, and providing education on animal husbandry and preventive care.
Numbers can vary, but typically, each veterinary team might treat between 50-100 animals per day, depending on the needs of the local farmers.
Local translators will be available to assist with communication. Learning a few basic Swahili phrases can be helpful and appreciated by the farmers.
In Nairobi and during the safari portion, you'll stay in comfortable lodges or hotels. During the missionary work in Nyeri, accommodation will be at Mtoni Lodge or equivalent, offering essential amenities.
You have good chances of seeing the "Big Five" (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino) in the Maasai Mara, and the "Special Five" (Beisa Oryx, Somali Ostrich,Reticulated Gi raffe, Gerenuk, and Grevy's Zebra) in Samburu.
