In the evening, your tour manager will conduct a comprehensive safari briefing, preparing you for the exciting journey ahead. Overnight at Tamarind Tree Hotel, your first taste of Kenyan hospitality.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park, nestled at the foot of Africa's highest peak, Mt Kilimanjaro. Following lunch at the picturesque Kibo Safari Camp, set out on your first game drive. Marvel at the diverse wildlife against the backdrop of snow-capped Kilimanjaro, a photographer's dream come true. As the sun sets, return to Kibo Safari Camp for dinner and a night under the African stars.
Rise early for a thrilling morning game drive in Amboseli, known for its large elephant herds and unparalleled views of Mt Kilimanjaro. After a late breakfast, choose between another game drive or relaxation by the pool. In the afternoon, venture out again to spot more of Amboseli's abundant wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, and numerous bird species. Return to Kibo Safari Camp for dinner and overnight, reflecting on your day's adventures.
Bid farewell to Amboseli and journey through Nairobi to the Great Rift Valley. Descend into this geological wonder to reach Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its flamingo-fringed shores. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive around the lake, seeking out leopards, rhinos, and the park's diverse birdlife. As evening falls, retire to the Grand Winston Hotel for dinner and a well-deserved rest.
Today, you'll travel to the crown jewel of Kenya's wildlife reserves - the Masai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch at the comfortable Mara AA Lodge. In the late afternoon, set out for your first Mara game drive, where you'll encounter an astounding variety of animals in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for dinner, anticipating the wonders that await in the coming days.
Dedicate a full day to exploring the Masai Mara's rich ecosystems. Start with an early morning game drive, visiting the Mara River to observe hippos and crocodiles. For the adventurous, an optional hot air balloon ride offers a breathtaking bird's-eye view of the savannah (additional cost applies). After lunch, embark on another game drive, searching for the Big Five and witnessing the Mara's famous golden light. Conclude your day with dinner and overnight at Mara AA Lodge.
Savor your final breakfast in the Mara before bidding "Kwaheri" (goodbye) to this wildlife paradise. Drive back to Nairobi, arriving around midday. Time permitting, enjoy an optional lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant.
