Day 1: Nairobi to Nanyuki
Your journey begins with a pick-up from Nairobi airport and a scenic drive to Nanyuki. Known
as a gateway for Mt. Kenya climbers and backpackers, Nanyuki offers beautiful views and a taste of rural Kenya. After lunch and check-in at Falcon Hotel, spend the afternoon familiarizing yourself with the area and enjoying some photography. Dinner and overnight at Falcon Hotel.
Days 2-5: Volunteer Work in Nanyuki
For the next four days, immerse yourself in meaningful volunteer work. After an early breakfast
each day, head to Dol Dol, the site where you'll be helping to build a classroom or local church.
Work alongside community members, sharing skills and cultural experiences. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to the construction site for the afternoon. Each evening, return to Falcon Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Nanyuki to Ol Pejeta to Lake Naivasha
Start your day with an early breakfast before visiting Ol Pejeta Conservancy, famous for its black
rhino sanctuary and the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees. After lunch, depart for Lake Naivasha, enjoying scenic views along the way. Arrive in the evening at Sweet Lake Resort for dinner, briefing, and overnight stay.
Day 7: Lake Nakuru National Park
Embark on an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned as one of the
world's greatest ornithological sites. Witness the spectacular sight of thousands of flamingos
along with other diverse birdlife. Visit the Baboon Cliff for panoramic views of the lake. After lunch at Flamingo Lodge, enjoy leisure time for activities like photography or nature walks. End the day with an evening game drive before dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 8: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara
After an early game drive and breakfast, journey to the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at AA Lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive in this wildlife-rich savanna. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9: Full Day in Maasai Mara
Start with an early morning game drive to spot nocturnal animals. Return for a bush breakfast
before embarking on a full day of game viewing with a packed lunch. Optional visit to a Maasai village (extra cost) to learn about their culture and traditions. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the African wilderness before continuing your game drive. Return to AA Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Maasai Mara to Nairobi - Departure
Begin your final day with an early morning game drive, searching for elusive leopards and other
nocturnal animals. After breakfast, depart for Nairobi, enjoying views of the Great Rift Valley en
route. Arrive in Nairobi for lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant. Spend the afternoon at leisure before your evening transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
