Nairobi Orphanage Tour - 0  Starting $ - Nairobi National Orphanage is a wider part of the Nairobi National Park – the first to be established in East Africa on the 16th of December 1946. The park makes Nairobi a special capital as it is the only city in world where wild animals live naturally in the wild transforming Nairobi into Africa’s prime safari capital.  Nairobi Animal Orphanage, which was established in 1964, as a refuge for wild animals found abandoned, orphaned or injured throughout Kenya. The aims of the orphanage were to release the animals into the wild whenever possible, provide conservation education to Kenyans and visitors from all over the world.  Over the years, exotic animals' species not necessarily falling in the categories mentioned above have found their way into the animal orphanage. Problem animals have also been restrained here.  Nairobi Animal Orphanage is an important educational and training facility, which is housed in the only wildlife protected area in a capital city in the world is often home to more than 20 different animals and bird species.

Daphne Sheldrick's Elephant Animal Orphanage Tour - 0  Starting $ - Daphne Sheldrick Animal Orphanage, located in a secluded area of the Nairobi National Park, where orphaned baby elephants amongst other animals are taken care of by a dedicated team of conservationists. This two hours excursion takes you to the elephant orphanage iwhich s run by Daphne Sheldrick, the wife of the late famous Naturalist, David William Sheldrick who was the founder Warden of Tsavo East National Park in Kenya from its inception in 1948 to 1976.  At 1100 Hours, the baby animals are brought from the National Park for a mud-bath at the orphanage, where for an hour you can get close to them and sometimes touch them. You may not feed the animals but will get a chance to view the handlers feeding them. The private session at 3.00pm allows you to touch the animals and feed them. This requires advance booking through African Authentic Safaris.

Karen Blixen Museum Tour - 0  Starting $ - Karen Blixen Museum; Karen Blixen Museum is located on the outskirts of Nairobi on Karen road. Its history dates back to 1914, during the First World War, with the arrival of Karen Blixen from Denmark. At the foot of Ngong Hills, Karen Blixen established herself as a farmer. After her departure in 1931, the suburbs retained the commemorative home of Karen.  The Danish government donated the house and the surrounding land to Kenya after independence. The house was restored by the Danish government, and was used during the filming of "Out of Africa" which immortalized Karen Blixen's book by the same name. Karen Blixen Museum was opened to the public in 1986. A striking feature about Karen Blixen Museum is the beautiful grounds.

Carnivore Restaurant Lunch or Dinner Experience - 0  Starting $ - Departs Daily: 1200 Hours for Lunch & 1800 Hours for Dinner (Tour Duration: 2 Hours) Everyone who comes to Kenya must try the Carnivore Restaurant Nairobi if they are true Meat Eaters! Every type of meat imaginable is roasted on traditional Masai swords (skewers) over a huge, visually spectacular charcoal pit that dominates the entrance of the restaurant. The Carnivore Restaurant Nairobi is a unique experience. This open-air meat specialty restaurant has become a standard stop on the safari trail. Every type of meat imaginable, including four choices of wild game, is roasted on traditional Masai swords (skewers) over a huge, visually spectacular charcoal pit that dominates the entrance of the restaurant.  Normally waiters welcome you for starters with a delicious hot soup, and then carry the meat swords around the restaurant, carving unlimited amounts of the prime meats onto sizzling, cast iron plates in front of you. A wide selection of salads, vegetable side dishes, and a variety of exotic sauces accompany the meat feast.  After this meal, dessert and coffee follow. Mountain Climbing Safaris

Mt Kenya Climbing - Naro Moru Route - 4 Naro Moru Route is most popular route although not the most scenic. It is also the fastest route to point Lenana. Take this classic route (Naro Moru Route) up Mount Kenya though the notoriously treacherous vertical bog and into the wide Teleki Valley beneath the Tryndall, The Lewis Glacier. Though the summit can be reached in 4 days as per the below itinerary, we strongly recommend an overnight acclimatization at the base, Naromoru River Lodge. This can be arranged for at an extra fee.Mount Kenya is Africa’s second highest mountain at 5,199m (17,058 feet) and the highest of all Kenya Mountains.   Mount Kenya is roughly circular, about 60km across at the 200mm contour, where the steep font hills rise out of the gentler slopes of the centered highlands. At the centre of the massif, the main peaks rise sharply from around 4,500m to the main summit of Batian 5,199m, Nelion 5,188m and point Lenana 4,985m. Other major summits on the mountain include Point Piggott 4,957m, Point Dutton 4,885 and Point John 4,883m. Of the three main peaks (Batian, Lenana and Nelion), only point Lenana can be reached by trekkers and the other two being only for technical climbers.

Mt Kenya Climbing Chogoria Route - 4 Chogoria Climbing route is the most scenic and interesting route. It takes in both tropical forests and moorland. The Gorges Valley is a major feature on the Chogoria Route.This route leads from Chogoria town up to the peaks circuit. Chogoria route passes the enchanting Hall Tarns and looks down sheer cliffs into the spectacular Gorges Valley and onto the beautiful Lake Michaelson.
